Why Choose Park Avenue Laser Vision?

We perform only the safest and most effective type of Laser Eye Surgery - LASEK and epi-LASEK .
No cuts, no flaps - No complications!

Q: Why is your Non-Cutting procedure safer?

A: Our exclusive No-Cut, No-Flap, All-Laser procedure eliminates virtually all intraoperative (within the operating room) complications.

Q: Why should I want to avoid having a flap cut in my eye?

A: Over 90% of complications are flap-related: either a bad flap being cut, problems replacing it, wrinkles in the flap--even dislocated flaps if you get hit in the eye afterwards. By not cutting flaps, we have eliminated all flap-related complications!

Q: Aren't IntraLase and i-LASIK also non-cutting?

A: Those companies want you to think that those procedures are non-cutting, so they advertise them as "bladeless." In reality, they are still cutting flaps with a laser, so have all the same flap complications (if you get hit in the eye, the flap can still dislodge).

Q: If your non-cutting, no-flap LASEK and Epi-LASEK procedures are really safer, why aren't more centers doing this?

A: The best centers are! But the laser "factories" are stuck cutting flaps (LASIK, IntraLase, i-LASIK ) because it's quicker, and that's the ony way they can achieve such high "patient throughput" to achieve their scary numbers (like "50,000 patients shot")

Q: OK, I get it-noncutting is always safer. But will it help me see better?

A: Yes, definitely!  Cutting a flap is not only risky, but distorts the shape of your eye microscopically.  This makes the WaveFront map used to guide your CustomVue treatment slightly inaccurate.  This is why Dr. Chynn can now make most of his (average prescription) patients better than 20/20--because the WaveFront map is 100% accurate, without any distortion caused by cutting a flap!

Q: Is there any downside to my getting your no-cut, no-flap, all-laser, safer procedure?

A: The only downside is your recovery will take a bit longer.  Instead of being 20/25 the next day and 20/20 in a few days (as after LASIK), you will be 20/25 in a few days, and 20/20 by one week.  All our patients understand this, and are more than willing to take 1-2 days off from work to have a procedure that is 10x safer, with a greater chance of letting them see better than 20/20!

Q: Sounds great!  But I still have more questions...so what's my next step??

A: Just call or email us to set up a Free Consultation, or to attend our next Live Laser Seminar, where you will meet with one our real doctors (we only have MDs, not ODs, not "techs"), have your eyes tested, speak with other patients, and watch a Live No-cut, No-flap, All-Laser procedure!  After all that, you won't have any remaining questions--or concerns!:)
